It’s time to start.

I work with two kinds of people.

People who want to do work they love and haven’t started yet.

You don’t need a fancy business plan, fancy branding, or a website. You don’t have enough information to do that yet. In the beginning, you just need to meet people, share your work, and tell your people how they can work with you or buy from you.

It’s really that simple.

We’ll remove everything from your to do list except for the most essential parts.

You won’t spend months working on website copy, figuring out your client avatar, or perfecting your messaging. You don’t need that quite yet.

Instead, we’re going to focus on:

  • Increasing the amount of people who know about you and your work.

  • Creating a simple way for people to buy from you or work with you.

  • Delivering your work to paying customers. And then learning from those early experiences without beating yourself up.

  • Learning to truly rest during your off hours so you don’t get into the habit of withholding rest, play, and creativity until you make money.

  • Being committed to your goals, regardless of external metrics of success (i.e. social media engagement, sales, etc).

This makes your success inevitable.

Where you are right now is where everybody starts. And this is the best time to make money doing what you love. You just need to start.

And people who are already doing what they love, but feel stuck.

You launched a new offer and no one’s buying. Your clients love working with you, buying your stuff…but that isn’t leading to more sales. And you hate social media. Hate it, hate it. In fact, every form of marketing feels really gross, salesy, inauthentic. You don’t want to be bummed about your marketing metrics but you are because there’s never any engagement and you’re doing all the things. You’re a little stressed about your business all the time, even when you’re out hiking or grabbing coffee with a friend. And then you look around the world at all of this * gestures vaguely to world events * and things feel a little overwhelming.

You don’t need to master the latest marketing trend and create more content with said marketing trend.

The ‘create more content’ strategy reminds me of an awful pharmaceutical experiment, where they gave mice an herb to see if it extended the amount of time they could swim before drowning. And then they…watched all the mice drowned and timed it. This is what the rush to do more, create more, sell more, and earn more creates.

It’s time to do business more consciously than that. Small businesses account for 99% of all businesses in the United States. It’s time to run these businesses in a way that’s sustainable for all living beings.

Instead of doing more more, we’re going to focus on:

  • Falling back in love with the work you do and why you do the work you do.

  • The personal growth that will need to happen so you can accomplish what you want to create.

  • Creative, nontraditional marketing tactics built on both community building and service. (This is how you’ll love marketing and do more of it, without forcing yourself.)

  • Incorporating play, creativity, and spirituality into your business, to sidestep burn out and perfectionism.

  • Selling built on principals of interdependence, so selling feels good for you and the people buying from you. (And contributes to the world you want to live in.)

  • Loving your life outside of your business: resting, creating, and playing, in equal parts. (This is how we redefine how humans live, work, and play — forever.)

Here, we do business differently.

We aren’t individuals, competing in a marketplace. We’re interdependent beings, endlessly connected to all living beings. When you know that — and run your business accordingly — it changes the world. (And feels really damn good.)

I’m leading a revolution of small businesses in right relationship to self, others, and planet. Join me.

We aren’t individuals, competing in the marketplace. We are interdependent beings, running businesses that change the world.

My clients who get the best results are:

1

Ready to start taking action immediately, even if they’re a little nervous or scared.

2

Invested in creating businesses that contribute to the greater good. They care deeply not just about their bottom line, but about the impact their work is making in the world.

3

Clear on what they want to do, even if they don’t yet know how they’re going to do it.

The Logistics

How we’ll work together

We’ll meet once a week, for one-hour sessions, over the course of six months.

  • I don’t give my clients a clear ‘just do this and you’ll make money’ formula for two reasons:

    1. It doesn’t work. Strategies work for some people and don’t work for others. Why? The mindsets of the people implementing. We prioritize mindset.

    2. Making money fast isn’t the only goal. Indigenous peoples figured out plant domestication, navigating by stars, and medicine without anyone becoming a billionaire. The idea that you need money to be motivated isn’t true. In this container, we go deeper than that. We ask: who do you want to become? And what do you want to create or contribute? And we do that. The most innovative solutions to our collective problems have not been invented yet. We’re not here to do things the way they’ve always been done.

  • It depends. We’ll set goals together in our first session, so we’ll both know exactly what we’re working toward. 90% of my clients reach the measurable goals they set, either in 6 or 12 months. 67% of my clients renew for a second, third, or fourth coaching agreement, to continue setting and achieving new goals in their business. You’ll create whatever you set out to create.

Testimonials

“I have been reflecting on 2021 and remembered in the fall of 2020 we talked a lot about my business and what I wanted. You asked me what my monthly income goal was for my business and I said I'd be thrilled with an extra $1500/month. I made an average of $1900/mo in 2021! And I just signed a retainer that doubled my income to $3k/month. I have 3 current clients which means an average of $3450/month. For now. You challenged me to question what I thought I knew. And I want to say thank you.”

— Cheryl H.

“Just wanted to say thank you.  I'm seeing all this dramatic change with the business.  We're pulling in a ton of national work and have an abundance of opportunities happening - and it's all super fun stuff that I'm excited to work on.  So just wanted to extend a thank you for your help because I know it's directly linked.”

Greg Dutton

“I woke up this morning and realized I’ve already made 10k in 2021. I’ve tripled my income since September and with my combined income I’m set to make over $100,000 this year which is beyond something I ever could have imagined for myself when we signed.”

— Lizzy M.

“I was thinking about giving up on my business when we began working together. I was working all the time on my business and felt exhausted. Halfway through our coaching, I started signing clients at my full rate. Today, my business is viable and I’m earning an income that matches my expertise. My schedule feels intentional — I have time to rest, plan, and prioritize my business. I market myself in a way that feels genuine. I’m no longer stuck worrying how people will receive me.”
